The substitution of chemical additives in food

 

About the Technology

Phytocompounds such as carotenoids, anthocyanins, curcuminoids, among others, are obtained from various sources like Apis mellifera pollen, turmeric, essential oils, and more, with the aim of extracting their biocompounds for use as preservatives and/or colorants in food matrices, replacing synthetic or chemical additives.
