ICTA provides advisory services according to academic or industrial needs through its specialized human resources in areas related to food science and technology. In this context, the Institute, through its physical infrastructure and its teaching and research staff, carries out support processes for industries to enable or facilitate the development of new food products.

Additionally, to ensure the quality and transparency of processes in public or private entities, the Institute acts as a supervisor for contracts or programs related to the food sector.
